This video was taken on September 18, 2025. Hatteras KFX is 2.5 years old, stands 16.2 hh and 1/4" and weighs in at 1210 lbs. This is a candid video taken in our 60' round pen. We don't have an arena yet to get video of him going down a straight wall.
Hatteras will go to Oakwood Farms at the beginning of next year to start him lightly under saddle...unless he finds his forever home first. He's been a joy to raise at our farm.

Hatteras was presented at the AHS Inspection at Oakwood Farms in August 2023. The judges were very complimentary of him even though he did not show his best that day. They commented that he had a beautiful neck set and head, he's very athletic, and the little trot that they did see was very rhythmical. They remembered that his full sister, Honorine KFX, was a Gold Medal Foal last year and said that he was of the same caliber. We agree!
Hatteras' dam, HPM Sole Fiore KFX, was the USDF National Grand Champion Three Year Old Filly in 2017. Hatteras has inherited her beautiful movement.
